PURPOSE: To provide a method of producing adiabatic panels wherein a variety thickness of adiabatic panels are formed by use of surface plates of the same thickness and several types of molded members, whereby the types of the surface plates are lessened and the operations are made easy.
CONSTITUTION: Surface plates 2, 3 are bent inside at both ends thereof to form bent edges 6, 6. A coupling plate section 8 and a length-controlling plate section 9 are extended, facing to each other, from both ends of a surface plate section 7 at a side of a molded member 4. A coupling groove section 10 slidably attached to the bent edge 6 in the surface plate 2 is provided at the end section of the coupling plate section 8. Also, a coupling groove section 12 slidably attached to the bent edge 6 in the surface plate 3 is provided at the end section of the length-controlling plate section 9. In case of a small molded member 4, the surface plate section 7, the coupling plate section 8 and the length-controlling plate section 9 are shortened in size, and the surface plates 2, 3 of the same size are coupled to form a thin adiabatic panel 1.
