Abstract:

To provide a method for producing adipaldehyde acid, suitable for industrially carrying out the production in the field of separation of a catalyst from the product and the unreacted raw material, and from the viewpoint of the repeated use of a catalyst.

This method for continuously producing the adipaldehyde acid comprises using a solid catalyst containing at least one kind of metal elements belonging to groups 4 to 11 in the periodic table in the reaction for providing the adipaldehyde acid by oxidizing cyclohexanone with molecular oxygen in the presence of water and the catalyst.
