Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a novel method for producing an aliphatic hydrocarbon. Provided is a method for producing an aliphatic hydrocarbon, the method comprising a step for allowing a catalyst supported on a silicon wire and made of metal fine particles including a noble metal such as rhodium, to act on an aliphatic carboxylic acid or the like, to cause a decarboxylation reaction.
