Abstract:
To provide a method for synthesizing or manufacturing allyl compounds at relatively high yield using metal oxide which can be obtained by relatively simple operation as a catalyst without using a reactant having risk for contamination of large amount of chlorine, an ester-based reactant, and transition metal complex catalyst which cannot be recycled since it is dissolved into a reaction liquid, or a manufacturing method of a metal oxide catalyst used for the synthesis.SOLUTION: There is provided a manufacturing method of allyl compounds or the like for manufacturing an allyl compound such as ally ethers and allyl thioethers by acting allyl alcohol on a compound such as alcohols and phenols to introduce an allyl group with dehydration, in which a metal oxide catalyst obtained by mixing at least one of titania and zirconia, and a molybdenum compound in a mixture of the allyl alcohol and the compound, in which a molybdenum oxide coated film is formed on the titania and/or zirconia, is used.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
