Abstract:

To provide an antiviral textile product that has positive effects on viruses.

There is provided a method for producing an antiviral textile product comprising the steps of: bringing a textile product in contact with polyhexamethylene biguanide, and a spreading agent comprising one kind or more of compounds selected from a nonionic surfactant, polyvinyl alcohol, polyvinyl acetate and polysaccharides, or a binder comprising one kind or more of compounds; and heat-treating the textile product at a temperature of 90°C or more and 200°C or less to adhere the polyhexamethylene biguanide onto the textile product.
