Abstract:
To provide a method for industrially and advantageously producing an aromatic amine compound with a high selectivity.
There is provided the method for producing the aromatic amine compound by carrying out a hydrogenation reaction using an iridium catalyst supported on carbon nanofibers. The aromatic amine compound is produced by carrying out the hydrogenation reaction in the presence of the iridium catalyst in which (i) an aromatic nitro compound, (ii) an aromatic nitro compound and a carbonyl compound, (iii) an aromatic primary amine compound and a carbonyl compound, or (iv) an aromatic imine compound is supported on the carbon nanofibers.
