To provide a technique with which the producing time of a bevel gear can be shortened.
A method for producing the bevel gear, is provided with a first process, a second process and a third process. In the first process, tooth-profile group disposed as an umbrella-state and having a preliminary shape is formed to a work. In the second process, a penetrating hole having the same axis as that of the tooth-profile group, is formed to the work. In the third process, the work 20 set to a die 33 for forming the tooth-profile, is cold-forged under state of inserting a columnar member 44 forming projecting lines extending to the axial direction and repeating in the peripheral direction, into the penetrating hole. According to this producing method for bevel gear, the tooth-profile group and a spline can simultaneously be formed. Therefore, the producing time of the bevel gear can be shortened.
