Abstract:

To provide a carbon fiber bundle that has excellent fiber dispersibility of carbon fiber during web formation and provides a carbon fiber web having excellent mechanical characteristic and appearance when made into a molded product.

A method for producing the carbon fiber web comprising the carbon fiber bundle (a) and at least one of other reinforcing fiber bundles (b) in which the carbon fiber bundle (a) and the other reinforcing fiber bundles (b) are different in one or more of contact angle with water of single fiber measured by a Wilhelmy method, a surface area ratio of single fiber, a root mean square roughness of single fiber surface and length of fiber bundle comprises papermaking a reinforcing fiber bundle composed of 30-99 mass% of the carbon fiber bundle (a) and 1-70 mass% of the reinforcing fiber bundle (b).
