Abstract:

To control degradation of a catalyst used for catalytic decomposition of naphtha and to achieve long lifetime of the catalyst.

The catalyst according to the embodiment contains aluminosilicate. By bringing the aluminosilicate into contact with an acid solution and a silicate solution, the outer surface of the catalyst is inactivated, the carbon accumulation on the catalyst is controlled, and thus the degradation of the catalyst is controlled.
