Abstract:
To provide a coke production method which lowers a sulfur concentration.SOLUTION: In a coke production method, after a first raw coal is charged into a coke oven carbonization chamber 1, a second raw coal is charged. The first raw coal and the second raw coal satisfy conditions indicated by formulas (I) and (II), formulas (III) and (IV), or formulas (I) and (III). Sc1 and Sc2 denote sulfur concentrations [mass%] in the first and second raw coals, Sth1 and Sth2 denote thresholds [mass%] relating to sulfur concentrations, Bc1 and Bc2 denote basicities [-] of ash contents in the first and second raw coals, and Bth denotes a basicity threshold [-].SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
