Abstract:
To provide a complex containing fullerene nanowhiskers that functions as an n-type semiconductor element made of composite paper and composite yarn made by containing fullerene nanowhiskers with stable n-type semiconductor properties in a paper base material or thread fibers.SOLUTION: Fullerene nanowhiskers (including derivatives with n-type semiconducting properties) are added to naturally occurring yarn, synthetic fiber, or pulp fiber to make fullerene nanowhisker composite yarn or paper with n-type semiconducting properties, which is then combined with carbon nanotube composite yarn or paper showing p-type semiconducting properties to obtain a yarn or paper semiconductor.SELECTED DRAWING: None
