Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polycrystal sintered compact of a Co-based compound oxide which has excellent thermoelectric transducing performance.
SOLUTION: The fine powder of a compound oxide expressed by the general formula of Ca2.2-3.6Na0-0.8Bi0-0.8Co4O8.8-9.2 and planar crystals are mixed, and the direction of the crystal faces of the planar crystals is uniformized. After that, sintering is performed under uniaxial pressurization, so that the compound oxide sintered compact is produced.
