Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a method for producing cyanoacetic acid, capable of profitably producing the cyanoacetic acid without using a strongly toxic substance or an expensive substance as a raw material.
CONSTITUTION: The characteristic of a method for producing cyanoacetic acid comprises oxidizing cyanoacetaldehyde acetal, cyanoacetaldehyde or cyanoacetaldehyde hydrate with oxygen in the presence of a different aldehyde compound.
