Abstract:
To provide a method for producing a cyclic disulfonic acid ester, having a high reaction rate, capable of giving the ester at a lower cost than ever, and therefore industrially advantageous.
This method for producing the cyclic disulfonic acid ester expressed by formula (b) (R1 to R8 are each H or a 1-4C alkyl; and m and n are each an integer of 1 to 4) comprises reacting a metal salt or ammonium salt of an alkanedisulfonic acid (a1) (M is a quaternary ammonium ion or a metal ion; and c is a valence of M) with a halide (a4) (X' is a halogen).
