Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a producing method of a cylinder block with which the better melt-stickiness between a cylinder liner and the cylinder block is obtained.
SOLUTION: In the producing method of the cylinder block, an inner peripheral surface roughening process, an outer peripheral surface roughening process, a heat-insulated powder sticking process and a melt-sticking process, are performed. In the inner peripheral surface roughening process, a shot-blasting is applied onto the inner peripheral of the cylinder liner. In the outer peripheral surface roughening process, shot balls are sunk by half-parts thereof on the outer peripheral of the cylinder liner with the shot blasting to form the semi- spherical state recessed parts. As the shot ball, Zn and stainless steel bead having 0.4 &phiv or Zn having 0.8 &phiv , is used. In the heat-insulated powder sticking process, BN is stuck to the inner periphery of the cylinder liner. In the melt- sticking process, a metallic mold is abutted on the inner periphery of the cylinder liner and the liner is held with the metallic mold and the liner is cast-in with the molten metal formed as the cylinder block.
