Abstract:
To provide a method for producing a dialkyl peroxide by which the dialkyl peroxide having high purity is produced in high yield.
The method for producing the dialkyl peroxide involves reacting an alcoholic compound with a compound having a hydroperoxide group in the presence of a zeolite catalyst subjected to a dealumination treatment. Preferably, the compound having the hydroperoxide group is an organic hydroperoxide compound in the method for producing the dialkyl peroxide. In another aspect, the compound having the hydroperoxide group is hydrogen peroxide in the method for producing the dialkyl peroxide.
