To provide a method for producing double-sided cast coated paper, by which high-quality double-sided cast coated paper that is inconspicuous even if printing damage is caused on the surface, is used in printing using a printing apparatus such as an inkjet printer, etc., without anxiety is produced in a high yield.
The method for producing double-sided cast coated paper comprises a process for coating the smooth surface of a transfer sheet 1 with a coating liquid 3 to form a coated liquid layer 31 and attaching a sheet 4 to be transferred to the coating liquid layer 31 in a plastic state by pressure into a contact-bonded sheet 7, a process for sticking two of the contact-bonded sheets 7 and 7' so that sheets 4 and 4' to be transferred are mutually superimposed and integrating them into a laminate sheet 9 and a process for releasing the transfer sheets 1 and 1' from the laminate sheet 9.
