Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology of excellent practicality and productivity that can simply produce a long diagonally woven fabric for a very large FRP product.
SOLUTION: This invention relates to a method of producing fiber-woven fabric for FRP(fiber-reinforced plastic) where a movable mandrel 1 is inserted into the braider 2 equipped with diagonal yarn feeder 3 and this diagonal yarn feeder 3 is constituted so that it may feed the diagonal yarn S at a prescribed angle ±θ to the shaft axis of the mandrel and a plurality of diagonal yarns S are fed from the feeder 3 whereby a cylindrical woven fabric 4 is formed on the outer peripheral face of the mandrel 1. Consequently, the cylindrical woven fabric 4 is cut-opened in the shaft axis direction of the mandrel 1 to produce the objective diagonal yarn woven fabric 5 in a continuous length where the plurality of diagonal yarns S are arranged.
