Abstract:
To provide a method for producing a fiber-reinforced resin base material in which a resin containing a thermoplastic resin is arranged in a reinforcement fiber and a thermosetting resin while simultaneously satisfying handleability and economical efficiency (productivity and reduction in waste).SOLUTION: A method for imparting a resin while traveling a sheet-like reinforcement fiber group having a large number of continuous filaments to obtain a fiber-reinforced resin base material includes a step (I) of imparting a resin (A) containing a thermosetting resin before curing to the traveling reinforcement fiber group to obtain an intermediate body of a fiber-reinforced resin base material (a) 7, a step (II) of imparting a pressurization force to the intermediate body and impregnating the reinforcement fiber group with the intermediate body, using the resin (A) as a matrix resin to obtain the fiber-reinforced resin base material (a), a step (III) of arranging a resin (B) 20 containing a thermoplastic resin in at least one surface of the fiber-reinforced resin base material (a) obtained by the step (II) to obtain a fiber-reinforced resin base material (b) 8, and a step (IV) of pressurizing the fiber-reinforced resin base material (b).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
