Abstract:
To provide a method for producing a fluorinated carboxylate (4) that shows high reactivity even under low temperature conditions and can be converted into various fluorine compounds stably in high yield, and further provide a method for producing a fluorinated cyclic compound (5) in high yield even under low temperature conditions by using a fluorinated carboxylate (4) produced thereby.SOLUTION: The present invention pertains to a method for producing a fluorinated carboxylate (4). The method includes a reaction between a fluorinated carboxylic fluoride (1) and an alkali metal carbonate (2) in the presence of an ether compound (3). The ratio (β/α) of the amount of substance (β) of the alkali metal carbonate (2) to the amount of substance (α) of the fluorinated carboxylic fluoride (1) is 2 or less. The ratio (δ/γ) of the mass (δ) of the ether compound (3) to the mass (γ) of the fluorinated carboxylic fluoride (1) is more than 0.55. There is also provided a method for producing a fluorinated cyclic compound (5) by heating the fluorinated carboxylate (4) produced by the method.SELECTED DRAWING: None
