To provide a method for producing a fluorinated sulfonic acid anhydride (2) that is suitable as a pharmaceutical, a catalyst for organic synthesis and the like, or a synthetic raw material, the method capable of inhibiting consolidation in the reaction between a fluorinated sulfonic acid and diphosphorus pentoxide and boasting a high yield.SOLUTION: A method for producing a fluorinated sulfonic acid anhydride (2) includes reacting a fluorinated sulfonic acid (1) with diphosphorus pentoxide in coexistence with alumina.SELECTED DRAWING: None
