Abstract:
To provide a method for producing a foamed fluorine-based elastomer having excellent shape-retaining property and mold release characteristic and excellent in cost performance.
A fluorine-based thermoplastic elastomer is expanded with a blowing agent and subjected to first shaping at an expansion temperature equal to or higher than the softening temperature of a hard phase of the fluorine-based thermoplastic elastomer and lower than a crosslinking temperature and preferably the foam subjected to the first shaping is crosslinked and shaping is completed to produce the objective foamed fluorine-based elastomer.
