To produce fullerene nanowhiskers in an extremely shorter time than heretofore and to continuously produce the fullerene nanowhiskers; and to perform control of the uniformity, the number and the length of fullerene nanowhiskers, that has been difficult heretofore.
At least two or more interfaces are formed by a solution containing a first solvent in which carbon fullerenes are dissolved in a saturated state and a second solvent having lower solubility to the fullerenes than that of the first solvent, and then a two-layer separation state is formed at each interface to deposit the fullerene nanowhiskers. Further, interfaces between the solution containing the first solvent in which carbon fullerenes are dissolved in a saturated state and the second solvent having a lower solubility to the fullerenes than that of the first solvent are formed at the both ends of the solution containing the first solvent.
