Abstract:
To provide a method for economically producing halogenopropyl ethers of general formula (3) [R is a (substituted) 1-6C lower alkyl, a (substituted)aryl or a (substituted) aralkyl; and X is Cl, Br or I] on an industrial scale at a low cost.
The halogenopropyl ethers of general formula (3) can be produced by reacting a propylamine of general formula (1) (R is same as defined above), a diazotizing agent and a hydrogen halide expressed by general formula (2): HX... (2) (R is same as defined above).
