Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a honeycomb structure, upon the continuous charging of two kinds of raw material compositions of different product classes to a kneading molding machine, the change of the raw material compositions can be correctly grasped, molded bodies of different product classes obtained in a molding step can be correctly distinguished, and, mixing, kneading and molding can be continuously performed with one kneading molding machine.SOLUTION: Provided is a method for producing a honeycomb structure comprising: a kneading molding machine charge step where raw material compositions at least including ceramic powder and an acrylic resin as a pore-forming agent are charged into the kneading molding machine; a molding step where the raw material compositions charged into the kneading molding machine are kneaded and molded to obtain a honeycomb molded body; and a firing step where the obtained honeycomb molded body is fired, in which the acrylic resin is colored and is included by 10 to 40 wt.% in the raw material compositions.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
