Abstract:
To provide a new method for producing a hydroxyalkyl (meth)acrylate by reaction between (meth)acrylic acid and an alkylene oxide, enabling unreacted (meth)acrylic acid to be reused as a reaction material by circulation through efficiently recovering it.
This method for producing a hydroxyalkyl (meth)acrylate by reaction between (meth)acrylic acid and an alkylene oxide is characterized by involving subjecting the reaction liquid to distillation to recover unreacted (meth)acrylic acid which is then reused by circulation as a raw material for the reaction.
