To provide a method for producing an inorganic consolidated material suitable as an aggregate for construction and civil engineering by using ash obtained by incinerating or melting city waste or industrial waste as a raw material, wherein lead glass waste is used as part of the raw material to render a lead silicate contained therein harmless.
In a method for producing an inorganic consolidated material by using ash obtained by incinerating or melting city waste or industrial waste as a main raw material, a lead glass having a size of 15 μm or less is mixed with the raw material and burned to separate lead in the lead glass by volatilization to thereby render harmless. The amount of the lead glass to be mixed is preferably 20% by weight or less. Further, it is preferred that the raw material mixture be granulated to a size of 5-20 mm or molded to a predetermined shape and then burned at a temperature of 1,000-1,250°C.
