To provide a knitted lace capable of suppressing lowering aesthetic sense and preventing fray of yarn and to provide a method for producing the knitted lace.
A part of a heat-bonding yarn 23 is partially melted by heating lace knitted fabric 20 after knitting at a temperature lower than melting temperature of a chain knitting yarn 21 and a temperature not lower than melting temperature of the heat-bonding yarn 23. A part of melted parts is attached to the chain knitting yarn 21 and an inserting yarn 22. In this way, connected states of each yarn 21-23 are maintained and fray of the yarn can be prevented. A melted part 100 can be formed by further breaking the heat-bonding yarn 23. Consequently, even if a part of the chain knitting yarn 21 constituting a chain knitting structure is divided, loosening of the chain knitting structure is prevented in attached part of the heat-bonding yarn 23 and it can be suppressed to loosen the chain knitting structure beyond the attached part.
