Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing lignocellulose nanofibers that reduce the amount of use of ionic liquid and thus reduce the cost, and maintain the crystal structure of lignocellulose to some extent and therefore facilitate the post-treatment step for producing a composite material.SOLUTION: A method for producing lignocellulose nanofibers includes a pre-treatment step for bringing lignocellulose biomass into contact with ionic liquid in an amount 0.1-1 times the amount of it in weight ratio for heating, and a fibrillation step for adding water to the lignocellulose biomass having undergone the pre-treatment step to physically fibrillate them.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
