Abstract:
To provide: a method for producing pure and long silk yarn from bagworms, which does not contain foreign matters such as leaves and twigs; and an apparatus for achieving the method.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for producing long silk yarn from bagworms, comprising: a spinning step of making a bagworm B spin continuously silk along a linear route A by locking legs of the bagworm holding a nest in the linear path, which has a width that is less than a maximum left and right leg width W1 and W2 of the bagworm and which can lock the legs; and a collecting step of collecting a long silk yarn from the linear route after conducting the spinning step.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
