Abstract:
To provide a method which arbitrarily adjusts the crosslinking rate in producing a water-containing gel form using a (meth)acrylic acid based polymer to be used in a percutaneous absorption preparation and a cosmetic or a cooling sheet and the like.
In mixing a (meth)acrylic acid based polymer (component A) with an aluminum-containing compound (component B) and water (component C) to crosslink the (meth)acrylic acid based polymer, at least one metal salt (component D) selected from the group consisting of metal salts having a monovalent or divalent metallic ion is added to adjust the crosslinking rate of the (meth)acrylic acid based polymer to produce a (meth)acrylic acid based water-containing gel form.
