Abstract:
To provide a method for producing, in a high yield or in a high yield and stably over a long time, (meth)acrylic acid by vapor phase catalytic oxidation of at least one or more selected from (meth)acrolein, propane and isobutane with elementary oxygen or a gas containing elementary oxygen.
In a method for producing (meth)acrylic acid by vapor phase catalytic oxidation, the method is characterized in that a compound having a reducing property is contained in the reaction gas.
