Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a modified natural rubber latex capable of providing a dip molded product which can suppress occurrence of an allergic symptom of an immediate-type allergy (Type I), is excellent in tensile strength and elongation, and has flexible feeling.SOLUTION: A method for producing a modified natural rubber latex includes: a protein modification step of reacting an urea compound with a natural rubber latex containing protein in the presence of a surfactant to modify the protein, removing the protein, and obtaining a deproteinized natural rubber latex of which a nitrogen element content is 0.05 wt.% or less in terms of a solid content; a natural rubber modification step of reacting an ethylenically unsaturated compound with the deproteinized natural rubber latex in the presence of an organic peroxide and/or a reductant of the deproteinized natural rubber latex to modify the deproteinized natural rubber; and a concentration step of concentrating the latex through the protein modification step and the natural rubber modification step.SELECTED DRAWING: None
