To provide a method for producing a modified polyolefin resin by which the reduction of a molecular weight is small, and a layered clay mineral can be dispersed in the polyolefin well; and to provide the modified polyolefin resin.
The method for producing the modified polyolefin resin involves blending, and melting and kneading (A) 100 pts.wt. polyolefin resin, with (B) 0.1-20 pts.wt. compound having an amino group and an unsaturated bond and (C) 0.01-20 pts.wt. organic peroxide. The amount of the added component (B) is 0.1-20 pts.wt., preferably 0.5-10 pts. wt. based on 100 pts.wt. polyolefin resin (A). When the added amount is less than 0.1 pts.wt., the amount grafted on the polyolefin resin is decreased, and when the added amount is more than 20 pts.wt., the amount of the unreacted component (B) is increased to provide insufficient effects.
