There is provided a method for producing the moisture absorbing/releasing sheet obtained by applying a coating solution consisting of the moisture absorbent and a binder onto a support and then drying it. In the moisture absorbing/releasing sheet, the coating solution contains a thickener. The dehumidification element is made by molding the moisture absorbing/releasing sheet.
