To make it possible to hygienically mass-produce molasses-containing sugar which preserves unique flavor derived from sugar cane.
This powdered molasses-containing sugar is produced by squeezing the sugar cane to obtain a raw juice, subjecting the raw juice to screen treatment, membrane filtration, and pre-concentration treatment to obtain a crude concentrated juice, crystallizing a part of the crude concentrated juice to obtain crystalline sugar, redissolving the crystalline sugar to obtain a dissolved sugar solution, mixing the dissolved sugar solution with the crude concentrated juice which is not crystallized nor redissolved to obtain a mixed sugar juice, and subjecting the mixed sugar juice to finishing concentration, cooling and solidification treatment, and pulverization, so that the powdered molasses-containing sugar is obtained. Further, the crude concentrated juice or a mixture of the crude concentrated juice with molasses which is separated in the crystallizing process is used as the liquid molasses-containing sugar.
