Abstract:
To provide a method for producing an N-vinyl lactam copolymer whereby it is possible to produce an N-vinyl lactam copolymer having a uniform composition, a high glass transition temperature, and excellent powder workability, with reduction in residual monomers and with high efficiency.SOLUTION: A method for producing an N-vinyl lactam copolymer includes the step for polymerizing, in the presence of a polymerization solvent containing an organic solvent, a monomer component containing an N-vinyl lactam monomer, and a (meth)acrylate monomer with a C1-25 aliphatic hydrocarbon group, optionally with a substituent, a homopolymer of which has a glass transition temperature of 0°C or higher.SELECTED DRAWING: None
