To provide a method for producing a nonionic cellulose having uniform particle diameter distribution, suppressed in production of undissolved lump of flour, excellent in a rapidly soluble property to cold water, having a bulk density which is advantageous to dissolution and excellent in high handling ability, and to provide a granulated article of the nonionic cellulose ether obtained by the method.
The method for producing the nonionic cellulose ether comprises dropping or spraying a powder-binding liquid containing a wetting agent while flowing powder of the nonionic cellulose and granulating and drying the cellulose ether to provide the granulated material without carrying out grinding. According to the present invention, the granulated article of the nonionic cellulose ether excellent in rapidly soluble property to water, free from dust and improved in problem on environmental sanitation aspect can be obtained.
