Abstract:
To provide a method for producing an optically active hydrazine compound.
This method for producing an optically active hydrazine compound represented by the general formula (III) (R1 is a halogen atom or a lower haloalkyl; and R2 is a lower alkyl) is characterized by reacting an optically active propionic acid derivative represented by the general formula (I) (R1 is a halogen atom or a lower haloalkyl; and R3 is a lower alkyl) with a thiocarbazinic acid derivative represented by the general formula (II) (R2 is a lower alkyl) in the presence of a base.
