Abstract:
To provide a method for efficiently producing an organic acid from an ammonium salt of the organic acid.
The organic acid is obtained by subjecting the ammonium salt of the organic acid to multistep reactive crystallization by using a monocarboxylic acid. The reactive crystallization at the steps except the final step in the multistep crystallization is carried out in the coexistence of a 1-3C alcohol.
