Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a polyacetal resin composition capable of effectively improving hydrolysis resistance of the resulting polyacetal resin composition and to provide a polyacetal resin composition obtained by the method.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for producing a polyacetal resin composition which comprises: a polyacetal resin (A); a polylactic acid (B); a reactive compound (C) having reactivity with a carboxylic group; and a metal hydroxide (D) composed of at least one selected from the group consisting of a hydroxide of an alkali metal and a hydroxide of an alkaline earth metal, the method comprising: a step of adding the polylactic acid (B), the reactive compound (C) having reactivity with a carboxylic acid and the metal hydroxide (D) to the polyacetal resin (A); and a step of kneading the polyacetal resin (A), the polylactic acid (B), the reactive compound (C) and the metal hydroxide (D) to obtain a polyacetal resin composition. In the addition step, all of the metal hydroxide in the polyacetal resin composition is added, and when the total of the polyacetal resin (A) and the polylactic acid (B) is 100 mass%, the polylactic acid (B) is added so as to be a ratio of 0 mass% or more and 50 mass% or less.
