Abstract:

To provide a method for producing a polymer microparticle excellent in monodispersibility, which can easily control particle shape, particle diameter, particle distribution and the like.

In the method for producing a polyamic acid microparticle by reacting (A) tetracarboxylic anhydrides and (B) diamines in a solvent, the tetracarboxylic anhydrides and the diamines are made an anhydrous carboxylic anhydride solution and a diamine solution in the presence of (C) a seed microparticle, and previously mixed using a mixer, and then reacted in a solvent to produce the polymer microparticle having a larger particle diameter than (C) the seed microparticle.
