Abstract:
To provide a manufacturing method of a hygroscopic polyester composition, which is efficient by omitting a dehydration process, and can suppress yellow discoloration and oxidation exothermic heat after water washing.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a polyester composition comprises the steps of: adding polyester that is a polyester composition raw material and has moisture percentage of 1.0 to 5.0 wt.% from an uppermost stream barrel, by using a kneader having four or more barrels and a discharge die; adding an antioxidant in the kneader; and deaerating gas containing moisture from two or more vent holes while performing melt kneading with the kneader, in which the vent holes are vent holes installed to two or more barrels among remaining barrels excluding the barrel of an uppermost stream part into which the polyester is added from four or more barrels.SELECTED DRAWING: None
