Abstract:
To provide a method for producing polyoxymethylene fibers, by which the high strength fibers having good heat resistance, abrasion resistance and chemical resistance as the characteristics of the poloxymethylene and capable of being used in the field of industrial materials can be produced in good operability.
This method for producing the polyoxymethylene fibers is characterized by melt-spinning polyoxymethylene copolymerized with 0.1 to 10.0 mol.% of an oxyethylene component, cooling and solidifying the spun fibers, allowing dioleyl adipate and isotridecyl palmitate to adhere in amounts of 0.005 to 0.5 wt.% and 0.005 to 0.5 wt.%, respectively, to the surfaces of the fibers, and then drawing the fibers in a ratio of 6.5 to 15.0.
