Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a polyphenylene sulfide block copolymer, which solves a problem that a molecular weight of a polyphenylene sulfide segment that forms a block copolymer is low so that characteristics resulting from the polyphenylene sulfide segment is insufficient.SOLUTION: Provided is a method for producing a polyphenylene sulfide block copolymer, comprising using, as a polyphenylene sulfide used in a reaction of the block copolymer, polyphenylene sulfide (A) obtained by heating at least a cyclic polyphenylene sulfide and a sulfide compound having a reactive functional group.
