Abstract:
To provide a prepreg which can omit prepreg lamination work when a substrate is manufactured from the prepreg, reduce the cost of the substrate by eliminating an unnecessary resin composition between fiber cloths, and thin the substrate, and is excellent in surface smoothness and a method for producing the prepreg.
In the method for producing the prepreg, a glass cloth 30 μm or below in thickness in which the diameters of filaments are 5 μm or below is made the outermost layer, and a resin composition is applied on the glass cloth having at least two layers laminated in advance and dried.
