Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a prepreg by a dry method which can raise a temperature even of a resin composition having high viscosity to a temperature capable of being impregnated in a short time.SOLUTION: The temperature of a resin composition can be instantly raised to a temperature capable of being impregnated by applying ultrasonic oscillation to the resin composition with the use of a resin impregnation apparatus having a heating section having an ultrasonic oscillator, an ultrasonic vibrator connected to the ultrasonic oscillator, and an ultrasonic horn mounted on the ultrasonic vibrator, and an impregnation section for nipping and compressing a base material-resin laminate in its thickness direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
