Abstract:
To provide a method for producing a propylene-ethylene random copolymer having excellent fluidity.
This method for producing the propylene-ethylene random copolymer comprises using a polymerization catalyst composed of (A) a solid catalytic component constituted of magnesium, titanium, a halogen and an electron donor as essential components, (B) an organoaluminum compound, (C) an alkoxysilane compound component of the formula R1mSi(OR2)4-m and (D) a halogen compound component of the formula MXn (M is Mg, B, Al, In, Ga, C, Si, Ge, Sn, Sb or a transition metal atom) in a ratio R of the amount of the component (D) to the (C) in the range of 0.1<R<10 (mol/mol).
