To provide a method for producing a propylene random copolymer, reducing the melt adhesion of polymers each other in a slurry polymerization vessel and the attachment of the polymer on the wall surface of a slurry polymerization vessel and in a taking out piping, and capable of stably polymerizing in producing the random copolymer by copolymerizing propylene with at least 1 kind of an α-olefin other than the propylene in a continuous polymerization of the propylene having at least one set of the slurry polymerization vessel and at least one set of gas polymerization vessel.
This method for producing the propylene random copolymer is characterized by controlling ≤75°C polymerization temperature in the slurry polymerization vessel and also ≥143°C melting point of the copolymer produced in the slurry polymerization vessel.
