PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing a refined polysaccharide fiber which has excellent recycle efficiency of an ionic liquid, high strength and a large break elongation, a refined polysaccharide fiber obtained by the production method and a tire using the refined polysaccharide fiber.SOLUTION: A method of producing a refined polysaccharide fiber comprises bringing a polysaccharide dissolved liquid, which is prepared by dissolving a polysaccharide raw material in a liquid containing an ionic liquid, into contact with a solidification liquid containing an ionic liquid and dry-spinning the polysaccharide. The concentration of the ionic liquid in the solidification liquid is 0.4-70 wt.%, and the distance D from the position where the polysaccharide dissolved liquid is extruded in a fibrous form to the position where the polysaccharide dissolved liquid comes in contact with the solidification liquid is 50-120 mm.
